Famous for the pleasant cold climate, natural beauties of pine trees, tea gardens, mountains, local traditional market, and the most famous toy train journey; Darjeeling may be the best destination for the honeymoon time. However, you can enjoy lot of beautiful attractions and places in the city of Darjeeling but I suggest you never miss Tiger Hills. Only eight kilometer (8 km.) away from main Darjeeling city, Tiger Hills is famous for its panoramic view of the sunrise over the mountain of Kanchenjunga Himalaya. It you missed Tiger Hills, you missed everything in Darjeeling!

From the end of monsoon is the best time to go Darjeeling. You should plan honeymoon in Gangtok/Darjeeling from October to March because this is the season when weather looks so romantic.
How to reach Darjeeling for honeymoon – By Road, Air, & Train

Darjeeling by Train:

New Jalpaiguri is the nearest railway station, as it connects all major destinations of India.
Darjeeling by Flight: Bagdogra airport is the only way to reach Darjeeling by air. Flights are available from all top destinations in entire India. However, again you will have to use road transport to reach Darjeeling, and it will take approx 3 hours.
Darjeeling by Road: Two main cities, Gangtok and Kalimpong, are well connected with popular places of India. You can take bus from these places to the lands of Tea.
